A New Era of Intelligent Trucking

Mahindra positions the BLAZO i-TRK as a complete business solution rather than just another heavy-duty truck. Built around the company’s “Profit Ka Rocket” philosophy, the vehicle focuses on three core pillars: higher earnings, increased uptime, and better operational control.

At the heart of the new truck is Mahindra’s 7.2-litre mPOWER diesel engine delivering 320 HP and 1,100 Nm of torque. Combined with advanced fuel-optimization systems, Mahindra claims the BLAZO i-TRK can deliver up to 10% better fuel efficiency compared to conventional alternatives in the segment.

Fuel Savings That Impact the Bottom Line

The BLAZO i-TRK incorporates several technologies designed to reduce fuel consumption, including the AI-enabled iFuelSmart automatic drive mode, TurboMAXX turbocharger, and OptiFuel air compressor system.

According to Mahindra, the cumulative benefit of these technologies could translate into substantial savings for fleet operators over the truck’s lifecycle. The company estimates that the resulting fuel efficiency gains can potentially add up to ₹15 lakh in additional profit per truck over a five-year ownership period.

Industry-First 48-Hour Uptime Guarantee

One of the most significant highlights of the BLAZO i-TRK launch is Mahindra’s 48-hour Uptime Guarantee. Under the program, if an eligible vehicle is not restored to operation within 48 hours, customers are entitled to receive compensation of ₹10,000 per day, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

The commitment is backed by Mahindra’s nationwide service ecosystem, including service centers and Mahindra Quick Service Points (mQSPs) strategically positioned across major highways.

In addition, Mahindra is introducing a Parts Supply Guarantee covering 250 critical components. If an eligible guaranteed part is unavailable within the committed timeline, the customer may receive the component free of cost as per program guidelines.

Connected Technology for Fleet Management

The BLAZO i-TRK comes equipped with Mahindra’s latest iMAXX 2.0 connected vehicle platform, enabling real-time monitoring of vehicle performance, maintenance requirements, fuel usage, driver behaviour, and fleet productivity.

Fleet managers can access actionable business insights through desktop and mobile interfaces, helping improve utilization and reduce operating costs. Additional features include predictive diagnostics, vehicle health monitoring, remote functions, and performance analytics.

The truck is also supported by Mahindra’s NOW24x7 mobile application, allowing customers to raise service requests, track breakdown assistance, order spare parts, monitor vehicle status, and access complete service records digitally.

Driver Comfort and Productivity

Mahindra has also focused on driver comfort with features such as the COMFiMAXX suspended seat, EzyCruise cruise control, factory-fitted air-conditioned cabin, Bluetooth-enabled infotainment system, and ergonomic cabin layout.

These enhancements are intended to reduce fatigue during long-haul operations while improving overall driver productivity and vehicle utilization.

New Intellicore Design Philosophy

The BLAZO i-TRK becomes the first Mahindra heavy commercial vehicle to feature the company’s new “Intellicore” design philosophy. The design combines aesthetics with functionality, delivering a bold front fascia, enhanced road presence, improved aerodynamics, and a driver-centric cabin environment.

Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK Launch Event

Mahindra says the design approach reflects the evolving expectations of modern fleet operators who seek both performance and operational efficiency from their commercial vehicles.

TheTruckDNA Take

With rising operating costs and increasing pressure on fleet profitability, Mahindra’s BLAZO i-TRK arrives at a crucial time for India’s transportation industry. The combination of improved fuel economy, connected fleet intelligence, uptime assurance, and long-term service support demonstrates a growing shift toward total cost-of-ownership solutions rather than traditional truck selling.

If Mahindra’s claimed gains in fuel efficiency and uptime performance deliver consistently in real-world operations, the BLAZO i-TRK could emerge as a strong contender in the heavy commercial vehicle segment and offer fleet operators a meaningful boost in operational profitability.
